Ready to download!Community Builder 1.1 compatible! Version 2.0.1 This component can do Single sign-on for users on Joomla sites that are listed in the component setup. Just login at the Main Site and go to the listed sites still being logged in!!
In Joomla back end go to Components -> Single Sign-On When you have installed this component on a Joomla site it will have the logged in users being logged in on arrival on the other sites, where this component is installed and the user already is enrolled by this component. That means: if you already have the Multisites Manager (Pro) installed - you do not need this component!! The steps to synchronize a user.
Site Categories - Allows you to group sites into categories - To create a new site category, click “new”. - To make changes to an existing category, click the category title or place a check in the box next to the site and select the “edit” option. - You can also publish and unpublish categories Site Manager - to create a new site that you will synchronize users off of, click “New” o select the appropriate category and fill in the sites name o type in the sites path on your server. This should be the full path or a relative path. o Type in the URL for the site o Fill in the appropriate database information o If you have any users currently registered on a main site, you can select them (CTRL) to be associated with the new site. - to edit an existing configuration, click the title of the site - to synchronize users, select the appropriate sites and click “synchronize” or you have the option to synchronize users throughout all published sites. User Manager - first, in order to have a user be synchronized they must be “managed” and “enabled”. There should be a “green check” mark under these categories. If there is a “red X” instead, click the “X” to change the user status. If you would like to associate a single user with a site, click the user name and select the site that they should be associated with. If you would like to associate them with more than one site, hit “CTRL” on your keyboard and select all of the sites holding Ctrl down. If you would like to associate multiple users at one time with a site (or many sites), place a check in the box next to the users name and select the “Edit” option. Configuration - here you can make changes to the maximum execution time and whether not you want a clean uninstall if needed. It is recommended to leave the variables to the default. Synchronize Users (All Sites) - This is a quick way to synchronize users throughout all published sites.
