After the component’s installation you can create a menu item to have the component
shown on your site’s front end. Admin has the ability to create “front-end categories” (by default “classes”) in which users will be separated. Also admin decide if he wants users to add be added to these categories by themselves using the front-end or by administrator from the back-end. When user logged in (and if he already included in one of categories) he can add some information about himself (default fields could be changed in the language file), add event, upload files (allowed file types are defined by administrator from the back-end). There are two groups of users in e-portfolio: teachers and students (it is seen only from the back-end and you can change this names for your front-end users). Teacher can write messages to students. To do this teacher should select student from the class and press "Message to" menu button. Teacher can also make comments on students’ files. To do this teacher should select file in students’ portfolio and press "Add comment". Commonly - teacher is a reviewer of the student’s portfolio.
