How it works PDF Print E-mail
Now it is much simpler to manage your modules from the back-end of the component!
  • The hardest part of the configuration is to understand which part of your template should be changed.
If you are not sure how to modify the template, please read this help file first.

  • After the component’s installation and the license code entering you will need to modify your template. In the Help file we recommend you to create additional template to have the same template assigned with static pages of your site. To do this you should just create a copy of the existing template at your FTP.

  • Then make necessary changes in your template. The additional Help file should help you much.

  • After this you should go to your Joomla’s back-end, Components->JoomDrag&Drop->Modules Drag&Drop page.
At this page you’ll need to create a list of modules which are to be shown at your site by default. You should select the existing modules which should be shown at your site’s front-end. You can add the module “unpublished” by default – then the user will be able to add the module by himself.

  • When this is done you should go to “List Drag&Drop” option. As we suppose this is your first installation of our component, you should press the “New” button here. Enter the name of this Drag&Drop configuration and go to the “Structure” Tab. Here you should create a table which defines positions for modules at the front-end of your site. You should also select the modules and their positions by default while creating the table. Use Drop-down menus for this purpose.

  • Then go to the “Options” tab. Here you should select the sizes of columns of your table in percents. By default it is set to equal values.
BE CAREFUL: When you change the number of columns of your table (in the “Structure” Tab) you should re-enter the sizes of columns here!

  • You can use “Menu Manager” to assign our component with a menu item.

  • Use the “Settings” option to configure the component according to your needs.
